I need to explain something before we can continue with this relationship. I want to be honest with you in every way because that’s what I want in return. Sometimes being honest and speaking your truth can be difficult for others to swallow. Just because it’s my truth doesn’t mean it’s yours and that’s ok. That’s what makes us all uniquely different. And my truth can change at any moment because everything changes, and we are ALL entitled to change our mind. Things aren’t meant to stay the same including beliefs and agreements we’ve made.
So here goes my truth…
Over the years of having a presence online I have come across some AMAZING people! I’ve witnessed many people around me evolving into who they are in the present moment. They’ve been through ups and downs, births and deaths, being in love and out of love, having a job and losing a job and so on. Every one of us has a unique journey and it’s been a pleasure to bare witness to all these stories unfolding.
I too have shared my stories online with countless people, and I have found that if people like your story they will stick by you no matter what. I call that unconditional love. So thank you to those who have been there from the beginning and who continue to be here through yet another journey in my life.
With the blogs I’ll be posting you’ll get a glimpse of a new story being told. The story of how I went from being an exotic dancer for almost 20 years to becoming the person I am in this moment. Living My Goddess Lifestyle right online for EVERYONE to see. Raw, vulnerable, but not afraid to show the world who I am.
Throughout the years, I’ve been getting messages from fans saying how I’ve affected their lives in a positive way. I didn’t understand how I could be doing that with the old content I was selling. I realized it was my story that they found a bit inspiration, and that I had an obligation to those people to keep pushing forward and living the life I want to live to help inspire them to do the same.
I’ve set up NEW social media accounts for this purpose. My old brand will still be there, but I won’t be adding anything new at this point. I will however post all old modeling images on to the Melody Jai Instagram for fans that don’t want to see the new me. Lol I don’t want to erase my past. It’s what got me to this place right now. Below is a short description of each of my new social accounts so you can pick the best ones to follow. I don’t expect you to follow them all unless you want to 😉
Facebook
I will be posting positive videos, memes, photos, stories, celestial timings, etc. Interacting with people on this platform is so much easier than other social sites. You’ll probably have a better chance of interaction with me on here.
Twitter I’m going to be honest with you, I am not a huge fan of twitter and I am amazed it’s lasted this long. I haven’t decided what kind of content to put on here just yet, but I have it anyways incase you guy’s like connecting there. Plus it helps with staying relevant in Google if I post on here lol
Instagram I set up a new page and it is different from @thedancingpriestess in that I will be posting more of a mixture of Goddess things and showcasing YOU on @MyGoddessLifestyle and more personal content about me on @thedancingpriestess
Pinterest Pinterest is different than other social sites. I get to make boards of different thing I like and post to specific boards. I LOVE Pinterest for their plant based recipes and have a few boards I use for this purpose. You can choose to follow an individual board or follow my whole page. At any rate it’s a great way for me to show you the things that I am into without writing a blog about everything.
Tumbrl I will basically be using this like an Instagram backup page. Some people enjoy Tumblr better than Instagram, but the same photos will be on each site.
YouTube will be added at some point when I start shooting videos again, but that’s got to wait until after Mercury retrograde because I need to buy a new camera lol
When I feel called to create Goddess programs I will let everyone know, and if you are signed up to my email list you will know first. I won’t send a lot of emails, just maybe one or two a week once I get things going.
